Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An OK gallary that seemed a bit overpriced. mainly paintings and most of them modern sea scenes. Also have a picture framing service.

Little perturbed to see a delightful caricature priced at 3 of 395 priced at £155.00 this means from the original there is generated £ 61,225 wonder how much went to the artist

Stumbled upon this gallery by chance while strolling round Whitstable on a few days break in the last week of September.
Small frontage draws you to enter and explore the wide variety of artists and styles on display. Something for everyone in there, but not too cluttered.
Found a really lovely limited edition Sam Toft print, which tugged my wallet from my pocket, and made a fantastic present with a special meanng.
Owner very helpful with packaging at short notice.
Thanks !

Sorry to say that as a Local Artist who likes Art i am personally very disappointed to see that the Harbour Gallery does'nt show or utilise the Local Talent indigenous to Whitstable.Perhaps the owner has there own stock or stable of work but from my perspective the Gallery appears to fall down on all fronts! Rarely will you see a local subject on display and never a local artist! It maybe that the Gallery has decided not to seek out the artists who are in abundance in Whitstable but it is a gallery that seems to undermine the potential to share and promote the local talent available. The gallery prefers to exhibit work which appears to have No local subjects and indeed original qualities either. As an Art Gallery the evidence of good Art to my eye is very limited. It pain's me to say this as there are few Gallery outlets in Whitstable for the amount of artist's to either exhibit or sell work so it would be preferable if i could say more positive things about one of these few Galleries in town.Perhaps the proprietor does well enough without us but i can't help thinking he could really make Whitstable Art and artists shine out if he and they got together to share their talents.Who knows what this review might bring!?

It's a quirky little place in a central location in Market Street Whitstable. In a prominent place in its front window were some entertaining prints by Sam Toft. On its website are advertised prints of psychedelic forests by Alex Jawdropimov as well as a rather unpleasant portrait of Jack Nicholson in an unpleasant American horror movie plus a rather pointless one of the late drug addict and false idol David Bowie. Overall little here for the serious art collector but plenty of superficial dross. Extraordinary given the popularity of this town that the gallery is shut Wednesdays and Sundays.

If ever you're stuck for a gift to buy someone who has everything take a look inside this gem of a shop! Cheap, mid range or expensive there's something affordable for everyone's pocket. The staff are helpful if you need them but also allow you to wander the shop in your own time without feeling awkward. Really great place and thoroughly recommend.

Exactly what you would expect, slightly cheesy artwork - not being mean, but aimed at the tourist market. It's not exactly the Tate Modern, but you weren't expecting that were you?

Really warm welcome. Very friendly staff and interesting artwork. Perfect location right on the harbour about 1 minute from the town centre. Worth a visit.
