Parking cam be a problem some times in the day but plenty of side roads with spaces. Great place to get a breath of fresh air.

Whatever the weather, Tankerton Slopes are a wonderful place to walk and relax. The views are quite spectacular.

Found Tankerton following reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. Plenty of free off road parking. Walks in either direction - flat on the top of the slops or you can walk along the shore line. Try The Royal for food - dog friendly...More

We bought our Boots sandwiches and sat on a bench overlooking the water and the turbines. It was a relaxing place and we enjoyed a walk here. There is free parking.

Walk off a good breakfast along this well maintained path, the sea was grey, the sky was overcast and it was still delightful. Lots of dogs having fun, a German school party being instructed about the coast and taking the opportunity to practice their English...More

This is a linear nature reserve between Tankerton beach huts and the beach. It does not look particularly stunning but contains some rare plants and insects. This part of the coastline is very peaceful and this time of year it is a popular dog walking...More

There on a windy day, great combination of country and sea. Easy to walk to Whitstable if you’re up for a good walk. Lovely beach, multicoloured beach huts.

15-20 mins on a flat ground along the seafront to continental hotel. Another 5 mins to harbour street Hope this helps

No problem for us and free along the roadside bays even on a Saturday mid morning..
