We visited here on the day of Margate Pride, the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. It’s a great little museum about the history of Margate & it still has the court cells. A must visit if you are in Margate.

We only had time for a brief visit but a tour lady guided us through the main parts of the museum and quickly recognized the type of exhibits in which we were interested.

An interesting mixture of items on display from old seaside entertainment to reminders of Dunkirk and the small ships. Lots to see and read about. We'll worth a visit

Not a whole lot there, but staff is very dedicated to answering any question, even before you ask them. Take a visit, worth a stop.
