Very interesting and well laid out. Lots of local history displayed factually and lots of pictures and seaside favourites on show. Most popular was the well known statue donkey that hundreds of children had their photos taken on,. Well worth the cheap entrance fee.

Great place to visit. The stories of the aboriginal people are great to read. There is the biggest collection of cameras I have ever seen. Really interesting great history

This is a very interesting and quirky little museum which has a lot of interesting information about the history of Margate. We were given a tour by a volunteer guide who was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Plenty to keep my grandchildren entertained.

We visited here on the day of Margate Pride, the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. It’s a great little museum about the history of Margate & it still has the court cells. A must visit if you are in Margate.
