Great little boozer this.Alegedly built on the proceeds of treasure found by early diving pioneers in Herne Bay! Friendly staff, well kept beer, a little garden at the rear. Still retains all the amusements of pubs of my youth. Pool table, darts, juke box and...More

We chose to eat here as it was a dog friendly establishment and we were delighted we chose it. We booked a table for six for lunch which was ready and waiting for us on arrival. The welcome was really warm and friendly, which remained...More

Live music venues are becoming increasingly scarce lately...plus this albeit a chain brewery, has a few guest ales which are lovely.

Visited last Saturday with a couple of friends. They had a band playing that was a little loud but only to be expected in a fairly small area. Prices were reasonable and staff friendly. Good to see a pub that is still playing live music...More

Had the nicest and most fun seaside themed cocktails with my boyfriend, not too expensive and a lovely outside garden and had a few games of pool as well. Would definitely return!

Went there with my wife on a Wednesday evening. Very nice welcome. Hurlimanns on tap, which was slightly better tasting than the one I had earlier in the Rose. (That pint was nice though) Pint of Hurlimanns and a Malibu with Diet Coke was 5...More

Came here after having a meal at wetherspoons. From £2.55 a pint to £4 a pint was a big jump. Beer was ok but full of idiots/kids in the pool room so only stayed for the one (it's all I could afford) Will not be...More

I was looking forward to a drink here, but it was a disappointing experience: Shepherd Neame Masterbrew was fine - it had to be because it was the only beer available. As for wine - only Shiraz available. Great pity, but the food looked good...More
