We had a lovely walk along the front, and did some geocaching on the way. Loads of people walking dogs, which was great, and everyone was smiling and very friendly.

Always seems to be kept clean but is a pebble beach and there are many better sandy beaches a bit further round the coast but the town and shops are really nice

Standard southern beach but more enjoyable because it is not crowded. There is a sea defence wall but convenient gates. The beach is slightly sloped with a step from the tide and break-waters punctuate the length

Hi, sorry no it doesn't but the seafront walk is very, very easy to access and is used by many wheel chair bound people on a daily basis.

Yes, dogs are permitted on the beach, as long as they're kept on a lead, and the owner clears up any mess.
