Standard southern beach but more enjoyable because it is not crowded. There is a sea defence wall but convenient gates. The beach is slightly sloped with a step from the tide and break-waters punctuate the length

Deal has a very clean beach which s all pebbles but very comfortable for sitting on. Seems a very safe sea too we didn't notice any currents or big drops the children were in for hours.

Not much to say about deal beach other than it’s easily accessible and quite wide. It’s a stony beach so kit easy to walk along and not comfortable to sit on. Parking is also troublesome in high season

Yes, dogs are permitted on the beach, as long as they're kept on a lead, and the owner clears up any mess.
