It takes a while to find it but you'll feel very welcome when you do. Several real ales and cosy olde world furniture and a nice chatty vibe is encouraged like in most such places.

We regularly attend the quiz on Wednesday evenings and thoroughly enjoy everything about it. Great beer, great quiz and lots of fun. Get there early though - it’s not a big pub!

Popped in to this real ale pub after visiting another pub where we had a nice lunch and good beer. Initially the atmosphere was of stale tobacco - as a reformed smoker i did not enjoy this at all - closely followed by e-cig vaping...More
