You cannot go into Cowes without popping into the Cowes Ale House, you have to try the ales. the staff and locals make you feel very welcome.... even though we did not win on the rafle lol

It takes a while to find it but you'll feel very welcome when you do. Several real ales and cosy olde world furniture and a nice chatty vibe is encouraged like in most such places.

We regularly attend the quiz on Wednesday evenings and thoroughly enjoy everything about it. Great beer, great quiz and lots of fun. Get there early though - it’s not a big pub!

One of the best pubs we have been in on the Isle of Wight At the end of the High street in Cowes Great atmosphere we visited during the buses and beer weekend This was for us the highlight of the weekend pubs

Enjoyed visiting here, managed to get in using a wheelchair, and had the bonus of there being accessible toilet facilities that were spacious and accessible. Went in for their beer as they had local brew as well as others, but all was good, served well...More

Had a great time here with great friends and a fab Live band, music and drinks , a perfect mix, small but friendly place , quality drinks in a great atmosphere !Xx

The Cowes Ale House falls into the new micro-pub model of pubs that is fast gaining ground in the UK. They tend to occupy small High Street shop premises. The Cowes Ale House sells pubby type snacks but not, I believe... More

Hi - yes food served 11am – 10pm every day. However there are lots of restaurants to choose from seconds from the hotel. Hope this helps.
