We enjoyed a great day out as a family of four which included 2 kids-a 3 year old and an 8 month old. The farm is not big but there are enough animals (albeit noisy) to keep the whole family entertained for a few hours...More
There's a miniature train, a number of good kids play areas. Obviously there are a number of animals and feeding stations as well.

Hatfield Railway Station is a 5 minute walk away according to Google maps. However, they send you down a road without a footpath, therefore we would probably say it is nearer to 10 minutes through Old Hatfield especially if you have small children in tow.
When you arrive at Hatfield Station, if you exit the Station, you will see a large set of gates directly opposite belonging to Hatfield House. If you speak to the person on the Lodge here they can direct you to the Farm.
