I have wanted to visit here for ages. What a wait. Lovely historic pub in old hatfield. Great stop off if you visit Hatfield house. Nice range of drinks. Thatchers is the cider on tap. Food selection very British, sort of place you can guarantee...More

This is a nice oldy-worldy pub with dark interior and nooks and crannies. They serve real ales as well as popular lagers and all the usual stuff. Occasionally have live bands and there's an excellent magician doing the rounds with his card tricks.

Always keen to support local pubs. The Eight Bells has always been a favourite. It's a popular pub with a friendly atmosphere and popular with locals. It's a pub without all the modern chintz and is in keeping with Old Hatfield

Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. They hold regular open mic nights and occasional events. Lovely little place to hold a get together or arrange a party. The bar manager is very accommodating.

Found this place in old Hatfield shortly after moving in locally. I was instantly at home amongst the low ceilings and quirky spaces created in this centuries old building. A comfortable warm atmosphere through and through. Bar staff were friendly and the food was quality,...More
