We took some friends here for lunch who were visiting from New Zealand. Very welcoming landlord and excellent food, all washed down with good real ale. Very reasonably priced too. Highly recommended.

My husband enjoyed a proper pie of steak with fresh veg.The fish and chips were delicious and I would recommend the orange panacotta.Friendly service.

Went for Sunday lunch,and although the staff were very good , the food wasn't. It tasted like it had been reheated, the cuts of meat were cheap,and it wasn't very hot

Staff are always friendly. My bud is always on ice as soon as I walk in the door! Great personal service. Food is excellent. Always a great experience.
