Great park, visitors centre with shop and restaurant. Great walks including a gruffalo walk for little ones, with carvings of the characters to see on the walk. Ample parking. Great for walks and mountain biking.

Brilliant fun for a little one and dog-friendly. Map was only 50p and you could easily roam the set-out trail or further afield in this amazing country park.

I especially love the north part where the coffee shop is. Parking is excellent and even cheaper with a s season ticket. My wife and I walk the dog there a couple of times a week. Nice coffee and a sandwich after a long walk....More

Ideal for dog walking. Forest, lakes, open spaces, childrens trail and a good cafe and visitors centre. Car park by the hour or a season ticket for the year for all Essex Country Parks.

I love Thorndon Park for a Sunday afternoon walk. There is always plenty to see. My only grip is the cost of the parking it is a bit excessive. I pay it because I like it here!

Beautiful views . Wooded walk and a lake. I saw a jay bird and sat by the lake. Parking is abit difficult and quite expensive. There is a cafe but it was closed

CM13 3RZ, is the correct postcode. CM13 3RU is Thorndon Park, which is the original country house that the park surrounded but is now upmarket flats, near Thorndon Golf Club.
