Great day with friends and family. We went into the picnic area where the park were running free sessions of bubble play. Lovely for the children to run chasing bubbles as well as getting involved making the bubbles themselves :-)

Today we visited Thornton country park to take the kids on the gruffalo trail.
We parked up and paid for over 3hrs parking (£5.50)
Before we hit the trail we decided to stop off at the cafe,shop for some food.

Wonderful place to just get lost and very family friendly!

Please note for anyone reading this BBQ are only permitted in the south part of the park.
Charging for parking for a country park is discussing. The woods belong to the common people not the council.
