We are great fans of Southwold Summer Theatre finding all of their productions highly professional and polished, however, A Daughter's a daughter by Agatha Christie surpassed everything. The cast were truly excellent and gave a remarkable delivery of this not very well known play as...More

Went here one evening with my wife to see Funny Money by Ray Cooney. We had booked on line. It is all very quaint. A typical sea side provincial theatre that doubles up as a cinema. The foyer and box office area is very retro...More

A visit to Southwold in the Summer coincides with the theatre and we were able to get tickets for the Thursday matinee. The play was very enjoyable. Fun actors and the scenery was most impressive. An excellent couple of hours!

Wonderful warm local well loved theatre, we visited in August to see Alan Bennetts play The Old Country, excellent rendition and the actors exceptional particularly the lead role. Pre theatre dinner at the Swan to make the night extra special, very enjoyable outing.

We arrived with few expectations at this quaint village hallish venue. Reception/bar staff fabulously informal and helpful . The play was the Thirty Nine Steps-the comic version. We laughed continuously at the fantastic cast who played with huge energy and wondrous skill. Could not praise...More

We really enjoyed the hilariously funny version of The 39 Steps. The four actors chopped and changed their parts at the drop of a hat and were marvellous. My (young) adult children enjoyed it just as much as we did evn though they had had...More

We came to the last matinee performance of the 39 steps. The tiny cast were wonderfully adept at bringing this classic to a tiny stage in a truly bonkers way. Worth a visit if you're in the area.
