It’s a good climb to the top but well worth when you get there . Take time to admire the slate steps in the final and steepest section of the climb , interesting to see inside a working light house too

Very interesting to see light house from the inside and views of Southwold. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave an interesting talk. Well worth £4 entry price. Some great photo opportinities.

Had a great tour up to the top of Southwold Lighthouse! Was speaking to Annie (who was on the door) for ages about the lighthouse and she was lovely and informative! We had Jan as our main tour guide and she really brought the tour...More

What a pleasant trip. Went with a local group of children and it was a pleasure to tour. No hurry and the talk was informative. From the top the views are glorious.

Visited Southwold coastal town. What a beautiful place. Lighthouse is in land in between house. You can only take a tour of the lighthouse at certain times of the day between 2-3pm. Well worth a look it’s amazibg

You can, but there are usually tickets available on the door - however you may not get the time slot you want. Good value tour though :)

According to the website, 1100 - 1300 and 1400 - 1600 on the 24th and 25th August. Closed on 22nd and 23rd. You could phone 01255 245156 to check.
