The best beach in Andaman which I have visited. Spotless clean with white sand and nothing else. The Waves carry nothing with them to the shore.it is a very clean Sandy beach where you can enjoy the Waves and take a DIP into the water....More
We stayed at the barefoot resort and walked to Radhanagar beach. The beach is extremely clean and very very beautiful. The Blue waters and white sand along with green woods give the beach a very different sort of charm.
One has to visit, spend Time at the RadhaNagar Beach to marvel at the Natures Bounty, Sea Changes its colors at intervals, at times its turquoise green, at times its blue, at times its plain crystal clear. Same applies to The Horizon. Limited Eating options...More

Hello! I suggest you to visit there either in October or in march-april. The weather is pleasant in these months. I visited there in April. I suggest you to contact a travel agent and book hotels and ferries before 1-2 months otherwise you won't get tickets at end moment and it becomes very convenient to book early. You can modify the plan which agent tells you because some places and beaches of port Blair are not worthy of seeing and it's a time waste. You should visit cellular jail in port Blair , Ross island, havelock island, elephanta beach and baratang. No need to visit Neil island. That's my opinion, what have I seen. You could visit websites for more research if you want. Hope my idea helps you😊

I believe taking your mother to Havelock by the Makruzz ferry should be quite doable. I can't think of any reason why she would not be able to do it. The jetty from where we board the ship is quite flat, concrete and motorable. Its just a few steps to board ferry. Same where we disembark in Havelock.
In the morning, Makruzz leaves at 8:15 and reaches around 10. For Havelock to Port Blair, there is a ferry in the morning around 10 and then there is one around 4. That is sufficient time to get to the Radhanagar beach, as it's only about half hr - 35 mins drive from the jetty, and get back for your return journey. Spending 3-4 hrs time at the Radhanagar beach is definitely going to be worth all the effort of a day trip.
Kindly check for the exact timings on Makruzz's website.
Or preferably contact some Port Blair based travel company for timings of the ferries and ticketing. Advance booking is always better as these ferries run quite full.
A word of advise..if possible spend at least a night in Havelock. You can then visit Kala PAtthar beach to experience spectacular views of the rising sun the following morning. Returning the same day to PB will be certainly very tiring for all.
All the best...have fun with your family.
Do not leave Andamans without seeing Havelock. :-)
