Purchasing tickets was easy. The entire experience after that was Abhorrent. I mean truly disgusting, horrible, and a complete waste of money. We ordered food at 6:15 pm to be delivered to our seats by 7:45pm. It didn’t arrive until after 9 pm and it was cold, stale, and definitely not as advertised. Because it was over an hour late I left the theater 3 times to inquire about the $40 food order. Each time I was in line behind others from other movies who wanted to know where their food was as well. On the 3rd trip to the desk I was given a refund as well as several other guest.
THEN there is the Easton AMC Theater itself. Filthy is an understatement. The recliners have spoiled food because the seats still have food from days, weeks, or hours ago. Who knows. One look and you know you are sitting in a garbage dump, the recliner is lopsided and broken, and the carpet smells like vomit and piss. With new movies going to home rental within 45-50 days and 100” smart TV’s with great pictures less than $1000, you would think that AMC would work harder to provide an enjoyable experience. This mess has become the norm at EASTON AMC.
THEN there is the Easton AMC Theater itself. Filthy is an understatement. The recliners have spoiled food because the seats still have food from days, weeks, or hours ago. Who knows. One look and you know you are sitting in a garbage dump, the recliner is lopsided and broken, and the carpet smells like vomit and piss. With new movies going to home rental within 45-50 days and 100” smart TV’s with great pictures less than $1000, you would think that AMC would work harder to provide an enjoyable experience. This mess has become the norm at EASTON AMC.

We had not visited this theater (another part of town for us) in some time (6+ years), as the dine-in menu decline had gone from restaurant-like to fast food. We were going to see Deadpool and Wolverine and decided to go again as a 'treat', making the silly assumption that improvements would have been made since our last visit. Boy were we mistaken. This place has the feel of something a corporation is trying to milk every last penny out of, without spending anything to maintain, let alone improve upon.
The seating was horrible and disgusting. Walking by the rows saw rips and tears, stains, and worn material. The cushioning was so worn down it felt like sitting on a folding metal chair the whole time. The carpeting was no better and in some places, it was so worn that it was difficult to make out the row lettering on it even with the theater lights up. The screen had discoloration going on that was annoyingly visible when very bright/white projections were going on.
The food/concessions were at least consistent with the degraded state of the rest of the theater. The concessions area was too small for the volume of customers and understaffed. Wait times were literally 15-20 minutes. The food was not very good and had a reheated/air fryer taste and consistency to it. We've had better fast food. The food quality was certainly not in line with the prices charged. They touted the AMC app and that one should use it to pre-order. Except once in the theater, no customer WiFi was available and signals were weak and the pages wouldn't load.
The movie had a start time, but the actual movie did not start until 30 minutes after the listed time. The 30 minutes before its start were previews and commercials. And not a lot of previews, as at least half that time was spent on commercials. Nothing like driving across town, to be sitting in a dirty and uncomfortable chair, with food tasting like it was from the local grocery freezer, just to be shown commercials touting the wonderful experience the very theater chain you're sitting in is, over and over.
I suppose I can shoulder some of the blame for not checking reviews before venturing back to the AMC Easton Theater. You'll note the last 'Excellent' review was 4 years ago and at the start of COVID. We will either a) visit a competing chain, or b) wait till it hits streaming to watch in the comfort of our own home, before returning to this theater. Sorry AMC Easton, but three strikes, and you're out.

This place is so overrated the food was crazy expensive for 3 hotdogs it was $20.00 The pop spilled everywhere because the cup was so cheap I asked to get a new cup and they looked at me crazy as if my cup was broken. The hotdog buns were very hard, the pop was nasty, nacho and cheese tasted like cardboard. I thought this would have been a great place to go because of the area. For the kind of money they get from everyone things should taste a lot better. Shoot they didn't even have straws out.

Extremely dirty theater. Dine-in seats were torn and tattered, menus were sticky and covered in food, theater has filthy floors from lobbies to actual theaters, bathrooms etc. Not what you expect at Easton.
In terms of service, all the popcorn is pre-made and bagged which is a major negative. Who wants popcorn that has been sitting for an hour? Then, it took over an hour to receive ordered food items. Servers were taking food everywhere trying to determine who ordered what. I would advocate for them to get rid of the dine in experience, and just get back to the basics. Shockingly poor, and filthy.

One of the worst in Columbus. I am tired of going here and always seem the movie I picked had air conditioning issues. Something seems off. They never have issues with the imax or premium screens but some of the older titles seem to be the theater they turn off the air. They always give me the same answer they are repairing the roof. Seems off
Plus the theater restrooms and theater itself are always dirty.
The only screen I would see here is prime. Anything outside that go to a different theater

Disgusting, worn down, understaffed.
Paid extra for seats with effects. They didn’t work. Bathroom sinks that worked didn’t have soap. Those with soap didn’t have water. This caused lines to wash your hands. No towels in bathroom. Long concession lines due to not having enough staff and they were rude. Floors were dirty.

The sound system is great and a nice big screen. However, three of us got seats in theater 17, row J and two of the three seats were broken. They would not recline and the foot rest would not come up. We felt we paid for a comfort level the theater did not deliver.

Over-priced and dirty. The concession stand was filthy. It was sticky and nasty. The popcorn was cold and the soda was flat. The theater itself was dirty too. there were heaps of popcorn on the steps. The seat didn't recline and the legs didn't extent. The tray was sticky and dirty.

This is our main goto movie place.
It’s large lots of screens. The snack bar is always dirty. The icey area is sticky and always popcorn on the floor.
One this visit one of the tables connected to the seat must have had oil (butter). All over it unfortunately I sat my coat down on it while getting seated.
In the middle of the movie I noticed the same oil all over my hands and left to wash them.
I complained to a manager and got a very nasty reply.
I have called corporate and they don’t seem to care.
Not sure how this gets such high reviews.
