We went there as a group of 5 on the weekend and it was fantastic. The service was good, the food was tasty, the view awesome and to top it off while you're waiting for your meal to come out you can pop next door...More

We visited the cellar door with my mother and father in law. We have been to the cellar door and restaurant many times and it has always been lovely. But today we saw one of the cellar door staff basically have a tantrum and attack...More

Dear Rachael, Thank you for visiting our tasting room last week and taking the time to provide commentary on what you witnessed at d’Arenberg. As an observer it would be easy to misinterpret the interaction, and we have spoken as a team to discuss the...More

Everything about this place will astound you. What an experience the Cube is!!!! We dined first at D’Arry’s Verandah which gave us free entry otherwise the $10 is well worth the experience. A visit to the Bathrooms in the Cube is essential!

The newly built crude is an absolute must see. It’s eccentric and beautiful in every way with stunning views from the tasting room. For $10 you can walk around the various floors (restaurant requires a booking), and taste a large variety or white and red...More

A group of us visited d’Arenberg during a recent trip to SA. The venue is incredible, the newest building ‘the cube’ is a five level architectural masterpiece. A small fee gives you access to three levels, including the wine tasting top floor with amazing views....More

The d'Arenberg cellar door is the gift that keeps giving. The story starts as strangely as it continues to unfold - the owner convinced the council to fund the project to build the structure as it would generate plenty of tourism (smart guy right!). The...More

The cube would have to be the most out of place object in McLaren Vale. Clearly a big hit and tourist attraction for the winery. I guess you have to see it once but be prepared for an unusual experience. Perhaps some pretentiousness about this...More

Interesting setup with the 'experiance' on the bottom cube. The smell room is a great idea. The real business starts at the top. Dozens of wines avaliable to taste, and taste we did. Our helper was wonderful, young but very knowledgeable and interested. A lot...More

I can see why this feature in the McLaren Vale wine region is so polarizing. The idea is a bit out there, the art work is "unique". We went for a Bench Blending - 90min tutored blending of your own wine, so entry, welcome sparkling...More

Unreal place with the amazing cube, the vine music, lovely wines to taste. The cube costs $10 entry but you have to see this place as it’s extraordinary & there’s nothing like it anywhere
