It is a 100 meter easy walk from the parking lot. You can walk around the impressive big tree. This place is 6km from the main road and it is free. So there is no reason why not to visit when traveling by car between...More

So interesting to learn about these amazing trees & contemplate their age. There is a good boardwalk surrounding it & short pleasant walk into the forest. Provides great habitat to the birds you see fliting through the long branches.

Fantastic ancient fig tree with boardwalk around it and information boards. Very popular so try to go early/late in the day. Allow 10 - 15 minutes.

Not to be missed, only a short drive from Yungaburra and you will see one of the most amazing trees. No normal tree, this has such grandeur and this is one of the better ones.

It’s really giant tree (think avatar got some inspiration from such a tree) really liked the small walk. No other visitors during our walk which made it extra impressive. Walk well done preserving the nature.

Perfect place to take photos. Just a short walk from the car park and special place for picture taking that can be used for Halloween. Glad we stopped!

This tree is massive and so cool to see in person! I didn't even know it existed and am very happy to have been able to visit.

It's what you'd expect. Giant strangler fig. Easily accessed (a few minutes walk along the boardwalk from the carpark) and an interesting sign that explains the process of what the fig tree does. Definitely worth a few minutes stop if you're driving past.
