We had been following the construction of the Avenue as we have known the Chuck family in Yungaburra for many years. The path follows the path of Bens (their wonderful son) gun carriage in 2010. It also gives tribute to all the fallen and shows...More

This memorial has been crafted with love and respect. It is beautiful and moving. The location is perfect for quiet contemplation of men, women and animals that paid the ultimate price in service in Afghanistan. Lest we forget.

A must see if you are in Yungaburra. If you go ,make sure you put a donation in the steel box. This memorial is better than many I've seen around the world in much bigger cities. Very sad that it was needed though.

I stumbled across this while exploring Yungaburra. A wonderful memorial to those brave soldiers and animals that didn't make it back alive from Afghanistan. It will ensure their ultimate sacrifice is never forgotten. Lest we forget.

This place is unexpected and interesting. A memorial to Afghanistan veterans. Sitting on the edge of Lake Barrine, take a trip down and watch the sunset over the memorial and the beautiful lake.

As a returned veteran from Afghanistan i love coming here. The avenue of honour is so well done, just a beautiful place to sit in quiet and reflect, and to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Lest we forget...

This place has had some real thought out into it. I have seen plenty of war memorials but this one is very different. More modern but equally touching. A beautiful location too.

This short walk was mentioned by a local. It was certainly worth the time. Very well done. Great acknowledgments to the men in service as well as their service dogs.
