This place is unexpected and interesting. A memorial to Afghanistan veterans. Sitting on the edge of Lake Barrine, take a trip down and watch the sunset over the memorial and the beautiful lake.

As a returned veteran from Afghanistan i love coming here. The avenue of honour is so well done, just a beautiful place to sit in quiet and reflect, and to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Lest we forget...

This place has had some real thought out into it. I have seen plenty of war memorials but this one is very different. More modern but equally touching. A beautiful location too.

This short walk was mentioned by a local. It was certainly worth the time. Very well done. Great acknowledgments to the men in service as well as their service dogs.

Situated near the shores of Lake Tinaroo - this is a fantastic tribute to the soldiers who Served in Afghanistan. The trees are glorious. A solemn reminder of lives short lived.

Poignant experience. Australians should celebrate our freedoms and opportunities and reflect on the price paid by those who defend our freedoms in times of conflict and failed diplomacy. A well designed reflection on the cost of conflict and of government decision making.
