The dam can be reached through a winding asphalt road. At the end there is a parking with some explanatory panels. Behind the oarking sections are non-sealed roads. Even in the dry season a good amount of water is going through the turbines and spill.

Unfortunately the dam has just been 100% restricted to 6knots for less in the interest of public safety due to low water levels. However it is still a beautiful place for a day trip or over night camping getaway
