We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Arrive early to beat the crowd. Lots of parking in surrounding streets and at the plaza.
So many different food options in the market - including dessert! And if you can’t decide on anything there’s plenty of restaurants to choose from.
Market had a great vibe, with lots of live music and entertainment.

Ocean St is the sort of place to head, through the day or later in the evening, if you are wanting a great range of food choices, wanting the al fresco eating experience, hanging out for live entertainment, wanting to meet with friends or make new ones. The road itself is half closed off to create a semi-mall feeling. The very cultured Piano Bar, at one end of the street, is known for a great range of jazz, funk or groove performances on weekends, the Solbar in the middle of the precinct is the premiere live venue on the Sunshine Coast, particularly for contemporary alt/indie bands as well as a famous open mic every Wednesday night, the Double Barrel Bar across the street offer which also offers live entertainment and a Sunday arvo whiteboard (rock) jam, Old Soul, a night club for the night-owls and at the other end, the Duporth Hotel provides a more conventional pub experience. There are so many options, you will always find something to enjoy. One of my most frequent destinations is Junk, the asian food restaurant, but along the street, there's kebabs, pizzas, organic, vegan, burgers, and everything in between. What's not to like?

The night life on the street is amazing, restaurants galore, sit outside and feel the ocean breeze.Maroochydore and Caloundra are fantastic. We visited on ANZAC and the sun rise over the ocean was unbeleivable. Seeing all the people gathered for the service bought tears to my eyes. I saw it all from my balcony.

We were there a week ago and there was no night market on the second Friday of the month. Last year it was still operating but it has not been operating for some time and there are no plans to reinstate it.

Ocean Street is having a hard time with restaurants not busy and at least one has closed down and being advertised for lease. But still a good place to look for eating experiences.

We went to have a look at this market, on the second Friday of the month (13th July). No market! Apparently it had been held the Friday before, but the website had not been changed to let anyone know. We weren't the only ones who were let down by this, there were alot of people who had come specially, like us. Luckily we stopped in at an Italian restaurant 'Low Key' and had a lovely meal. So the evening wasn't a complete flop.

Ocean Street is closed to traffic and turned into an “EAT STREET” with an offering of food that will satisfy all tastes. There are also stalls offering other items typically found at craft markets. The atmosphere is electric with bands playing but make sure you check when it’s on as it’s only on a Friday evening once a month.

Been a few times, its great, it's just a pain to find a seat and sit down to eat food from a market vendor. I now soak up the atmosphere from the street and eat in a nearby restaurant!

If packed crowds, long queues for food, expensive prices and a clicky crowd is your thing then hit Nights On Ocean, its for you. (go and knock yourself out !) It reminds me of a miniscule version of a day at the Ekka. Im not knocking this venue, but I know there are plenty of people willing to pay $15 for small portion "street food" just to try something unique. I was in and out of the venue in 30 mins, and 20 mins of that was negotiating the crowd to get from one end to the other. Guess im not "trendy" any more.
