Hope you’re ready to rename it the Funshine Coast, Maroochydore, because Holey Moley has brought the life and hole of the party to the Big Top’s Ocean Street Precinct! We have teed up your complete mini golf, karaoke and bar experience. It's not your regular mini golf course either, it's the best mini golf on the Sunshine Coast, par none. Whether you’re putting your stuff around 18 themed holes, or kicking it in a private karaoke room you’ll be able to do it while sipping the night away courtesy of our fully-equipped cocktail bar. Considering the name of the business is based on golf you’d think the mini golf course would be half good. We bought tickets at the main desk upon arrival. After walking through the arcade we found the mini golf in the back corner. The woman at the mini golf counter was useless and did not provide any direction on how to get started and pretty much ignored us. Fortunately another customer helped us to find the correct starting location (there are 2). It was very disappointing to see the lack of customer service at this place and in our case a little direction from the staff would have been greatly appreciated. Once at the correct starting point, I was shocked to see the course crammed into a small room that only took 10 minutes to complete. What a complete waste of money. The loud, popular music and ‘party environment’ did not compensate for how disappointing this experience was. We left feeling “well is that it?”. Strongly recommend not going here if you want to play a decent game of mini golf.

My friends and I went to Holey Money on Saturday and we had an absolutely amazing time all due to Lauren at the reception desk. She made our night so fun and she made sure we had everything organised she was so lovely and kind. Will be back for sure!

Escape room and mini golf are such great fun. Highly recommend. So well designed. Staff members are very friendly and good at their job. We had a great time and will definitely go back for more.
Only suggestion is that it'd be good to have a couple more toilets.

We attended your escape rooms on the 20th April
We had a group of 10 and did the garden and forensic rooms
Within 10 minutes of doing forensic the iPad we were given went flat so we were no longer able to access clues or time remaining
We tried calling on the phone and were calling for 25 mins or more getting no answer and at times no reception to call
Our partners in garden checked with the girl as they were worried as we had been in the room for quite some time and they had managed to get out to which they were told “oh yes I’ve all ready checked on them they are in the last room and want to finish”
This is a lie
When she was asked again later if she could get the locker keys from us she came to the room
Upon her entering we asked why we had been calling for 25/30 mins and not getting an answer or the phone saying invalid which our partners in garden were having the same issue
We said our iPad is also flat after 10 mins
To which we got no apology but a bunch of excuses
The iPad was met with oh we have had back to back bookings and haven’t had time to charge them which is appalling when this is the only item to get clues etc
The phone not getting through was met with oh yeah I could see you calling and tried answering but the wifi is playing up so it’s not working properly
To which I asked why did you not come and see us if the phone wasn’t working which was met with oh we have been very busy
I’m sorry but if you are running an escape room you need to be able to assist when they call and if your having technical issues that should be either mentioned or rectified before taking money off people to go and use a broken room with no means of communication
Third we said we started waving to the cameras
Which was met with oh yeah they aren’t working either due to the wifi problems
In short we are very appalled with the whole experience
We were given 5 vouchers when we had a party of ten and both rooms were having problems in both rooms the phones weren’t working some of the props and clues were damaged or un-readable for $35 per person we are extremely unimpressed with the way this was run and the lack of care in looking after customers
We will not be attending an escape room at strike/holey mopey again the whole experience was appalling and with no apology when it was clear they knew about the issues before we went into the rooms

Wow! Could not believe shots openly given out even promoted at the bar. I agree it is hard to tell the age of some people these days but one girl told me on the night if you get in early and play bowls or putt putt after a while they just think that the door guy must have checked your age so you can order anything!
Middle of the day early afternoons maybe good for the kids to go but nothing after 5pm.

We started off the night late from reception. There had been a delay for the start of the escape room. That's fine. Things happen.
Worst part. Your iPad for the clues; if we got stuck. Great idea in theory. Not good when 10min in your battery dies. Then your attendant tells us that they have not been able to charge and have been using battery packs between rooms. Fine. Easy. No apologies. Just a lot of excuses. When we finally got help
When I finally mean help. I mean. The phone in our room wasn't working to call for help. Our attendant assumed after 20 attempts at calling. We were hanging up on them after the call connected. We were calling from the moment the ipad went down.
We attempted waving at the security camera. Only to be told the security cameras were down with the phones. It all runs on Wi-Fi
Yes... You have a green button to open the doors. But we were emersed in a challenge we wanted to solve.
Items that had been stolen and poorly replaced. Poor quality clues. Etc. Will stick to escape rooms that actually specialise in rooms and have someone who keeps a close eye on you
Lastly. Your attendant then proceeded to reset the room while we continued to try to finish it. I get you guys were busy.
So. 5 vouchers - for cheap drink? Not sure as a girkfriend has- as compensation for our $34pp escape room. Nope. Not coming back.

The whole venue is so cramped. You can't walk through the bar area without looking for pool cues trying to knock you out. The music is stupid loud. Food came quickly but you were constantly interrupted by Jenga blocks collapsing on tables. Really irritating. The putt putt area is also cramped. Groups of drunk people getting in each others way. People getting irritated because they have to wait for the next hole. You can't relax. The security guard checks your ID AFTER you enter so you have to muck around to get that out. Why not check it on entry? It's basically a bunch of twenty somethings out on tinder dates. Won't bother again.

So disappointed. Wednesday night is supposed to be unlimited bowling. After 2 games they said all the lanes were booked till. 8.45pm. From the 10 lanes, 2 were out of order and only on 3 lanes people were having a game. Such a rip off. Very very disappointed.

Terrible service by undertrained and rude young staff! Waited in line for 10 minutes while several staff walked past and looked our way but didn’t approach us, we then approached a counter labeled “online bookings only” to be greated with “well do you have a booking” no, but we stood at the right counter for 10 minutes and didn’t get served... in addition was told on the phone $12 arrived and it was $15 “on weekends”. Whole experience was deeply disappointing however the course was enjoyed by the kids but not worth the price for the 15 minutes it took the kids to get through the shorter course.

My partner and I come here all the time for a quick date night, either bowling and a drink or the escape rooms or the mini golf! The staff at the front are always fun and it makes the night start out fantastic. Highly recommend for somewhere different for families or date nights.
