Worth a visit , especially in the wet season , when it’s been raining for a week, best time to go. Very peaceful & fresh ♥️ love this place but you can swim there , no access to falls as it’s dangerous 🤣😂

The Barron falls is just about non operational in May, bar a trickle. You can see right into the Volcanic basin, the depth is amazing, especially when you see it from the rail line as you dont really get that much of a view from...More

The walk down to the train station to get the best photos of the falls is not too arduous, there was even a person on an electric scooter so people with some disabilities are able to get closer. Unfortunately we were there during the dryer...More

The track is over a boardwalk and is an easy level. Beautiful nature along the way and if you’re lucky you may even see the train pass through as you make your way to the lookout. This place does not allow for swimming.

We stopped off at Barron Falls while traveling to Kuranda on the scenic railway. There had just been some rain and the falls were running. There are a couple of places to sit and take in the view. Simply beautiful.
