Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Innisfail is best known as a sugar cane town with a rich history and there is no better way than to commemorate this than with the Cane Cutters Memorial which has pride of place in Innisfail CBD. The Memorial was restored in 2013 by members of the Italian Society which is fitting as many Italian immigrants came to FNQ from Europe the 1800s in search of a better life & contributed greatly to the sugar industry & the town as it currently stands.
I drove down from Cairns for the day and viewed the Memorial as well the Art Deco buildings in the city, took a drive to Coquette Point & walked through the Warrina Lakes Botanical Gardens.

What a fitting tribute to the early pioneers of the area - the hard working cane cutters. Take some time to check it out and explore the park alongside the Johnstone River like we did.
