It was a great collection, and was good that you could touch most things, and the layout made it interesting. A little pricey though but we could understand how crystal lovers would see the value.

Hi Lisa, thank you for your review. Its great that you can appreciate that you can touch most things, it really is rather unusual for a crystal museum.

I was totally expecting this to be such a gimmick. I was so wrong. We were given headlamps and some instructions and sent off into the "caves". These are obviously manufactured caves off the back of this shop, but they are incredible. He has collected...More

Thank you for your enthusiastic review! Your description of the self guided tour is perfect. The fluorescent minerals are indeed spectacular and being able to impress teenagers is no mean feat, they are a tough audience.

I am glad the kids enjoyed the kids room, we only built it this year, I hope they found some nice treasures in the sandpit! and 7 is a great age to start to gain a real understanding of the wonderful world of crystals and...More

Thank you for your review. I hope despite the business of school holidays, you were able to find a nice quiet corner in the caves for your date... My personal favorite is the agate dome.

We visited the 'caves' as an extended family and all ages were enthralled by the range of minerals, there display and presentation. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. It was a shame we could only afford an hour and a half here as we still...More

Thank you for your lovely review. We certainly aim to mesmerise all walks of life! Sometimes people think this museum is just for kids, but with more than 600 specimens in the museum, there really is something for everyone

At first I was confused as I imagined the caves to not be man made, and so when I saw the store front it was confusing. However, going into the caves was amazing, it’s very well put together and enjoyable for anyone slightly interested in...More

Thank you for your kind review! With a name like Crystal Caves, it is easy to imagine that this is a natural cave so I am pleased that you were not disappointed!

In this day and age, wheelchairs are becoming more common. Entering the caves was ok, the displays were fantastic, and all was going well until we tried to exit the caves. Disaster. The young girl had to let us out the back end, and I...More

Hi and thank you for your kind review considering the trouble you had upon exiting the museum. While we have made every attempt to make the museum fully wheelchair accessible, there physically is just not enough space to build a ramp at the exit, I...More
