We haven’t been to the market for several years and was hoping that it had improved in that time but alas apart from having more stalls the market was just how we remembered! Doubt that we will ever return!

Perfect place to spend a lazy sunny Sunday! I bought heaps of sauces and chutneys, some soaps, lots of lentils/pulses some good books on a bargain! Would definitely visit again if I am around on a Sunday!

Fresh eggs, breads and live bacons! What more do you need? Loved that the farmers went all out with their wares... lovely colourful display and certainly what a view for city folks!

After a warm Saturday in Castlemaine, I drove to Daylesford Sunday morning through misty drizzle. There was a dramatic temperature drop but this didn't stop the crowds from coming or the stalls from setting up. Be prepared for the weather changes if visiting in Spring!...More

we stayed at the farmers arms art motel which was literally right next to the markets. It can get very busy and lots of cars parked along the road so we were lucky we could just walk to the markets. Has all your typical type...More
