Yes, you can walk right around the lake as the paths are generally good and wide and there are some interesting and beautiful attractions along the way. Better still, walk around both parts and enjoy the area around Wombat Springs, too.

Great walking area, lake is worth seeing. Walks can be short or a longer distance through to Hepburn Springs. Very picturesque.

Drop into the book store (after going to the chocolate store in the main road) browse, grab a coffee from the lovely man, drink and eat by the lake then walk off the chocolate around the lake - perfect

Came here on a sunny day in the middle of winter with the 7 yr olds and their bikes. Perfect bike path for them, 3km, mostly flat, a few ducks to look at as we went. A great little playground for them too.
