This garden is a bit of letdown. The lookout has been graffitied all over it and run down. The signage to get there is very poor. We had to ask a local where it was. Think there are far more interesting places in Daylesford to...More
Been to Daylesford many times and the last was our first visit here. What a surprise! It was hot but we spent some time walking in shade and admiring a wonderful garden. Really worth a visit, but pick a cool day.
Calm relaxing and picturesque. Amazing views with fresh clean air to breathe. Most enjoyable adventure. Access via driving trail directly to lookout tower. Grounds immaculately maintained. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get out and about. Awesome cannon on location aswell. Two thumbs up.
We had a lovely afternoon wandering through the gardens. My friend was able to name most of the plants and trees so thoroughly enjoyed herself. It's free and there is plenty of parking. We had a lovely lunch at the cafe - out the back...More
