My daughter and I met at the park to take a walk together - Covid distancing - parked and paid. Then we discovered many paths dangerous to walk being inches deep in slippery watery mud. Why are there no warnings on the website ? The Met. Office gives weather warnings daily. Why cannot the Park post up poor walking conditions warnings ? I saw small children with clothing caked in mud, no doubt from losing their footing. Further, although I'd printed a map, following our chosen route was hampered by no posted coloured way signs. It may be delightful at the height of summer. It certainly is not at this time of year, early January. Even so, parking charges must be netting a lot of money.

I was very impressed by the walks and activities at Irchester. We met up with family for an outdoor day out as they are in a tier 2 region, and in spite of very damp weather we had a lovely day. The trees were beautiful and the area allocated for den building was great fun. As well as a lovely big playground at the central area, we found other playgrounds and activities around the walks and particularly liked the dinosaurs. Our grandchildren enjoyed the high ropes courses and I liked the fact that there were so many options for different ages and abilities and that they seemed to be able to have as long as they liked -- I don't know if that's the same on a sunny day. The little cafe was clean and efficient and offered a good range of snacks and hot drinks and the marquee meant we could sit in the dry. Altogether, it made a great day out!

Visited here for the first time last Saturday, although extremely busy but that’s to be expected, great option for parking too, price of parking reasonable too! We were all blown away by the views and what there was to offer! I didn’t even know that this place existed until that morning! So well looked after and like is said truly stunning. I can’t comment on the park as it was to busy to go in but I can clearly see why it would be busy, the parked looked great! Lovely to see rangers out and about too very friendly :) Will deffo return, can’t wait to see the views in autumn :) My children absolutely loved the dinosaur part too! Which was the highlight of my youngest day

Never been here before and we absolutely loved it. Parking absolutely brilliant not over priced either. Lots to do and see, was a shame the cafe wasn't open understand covid etc but the park could have put something together . Was a shame,! Very clean and although the railway museum said was open unfortunately it wasn't! Overall we had a fantastic day. Would definitely recommend. Toilets were immaculate! Obviously a very busy park that people visit which was nice that so many people support it.

We visit here regularly to walk our dog, as she is able to go off lead and explore the woods. There are beautiful spots for picnics, a very large play area and lots of play equipment for children to discover as they walk round the trail. They have a lovely cafe where you can get hot drinks and ice creams. There is a car park pass that can be purchased which is worth looking at if you are going to visit regularly, you can also buy a pass that covers other parks too!
