Just so nice to wander down this old railway line, now made into a walk and cycle track, with a bridle way running parallel. We like to walk here in the daytime during the week, when there are very few bikes. Views across the valley...More

It was a nice, easy walk with a lot of scenic views of the country. It used to be a railway line, thus it's very straight. Unilike many other British trails, this one is very well marked!

Walked this trail as I came off Pennine way. Good walk but had to walk a couple of miles on road to get back to Glossop. Not a bad journey, but who likes roads walking?

Great place. Poor design, its been designed by someone who has never ridden a bike on a trail. Surface between Woodhead and Crowden needs to be upgraded to match the other sections. Biggest gripe is the gates. Cyclists hate gates but at least make them...More

This is a fairy well maintained path which is pretty flat, perfect for some easy cycling. The countryside views this path provides are spectacular and well worth a visit to this part of the country.
