We recently had the opportunity to take a private tour of Roberto's property with 2 families which included 3 children ages 9, 8 and 7. Let me begin by saying we've toured several cenotes over the past couple of years (Caracol, Muul ichi Ts'ono'ot, Multan-Ha, Tamcach-ha) and tend to look for less touristy/populated experiences. Roberto provided a fantastic experience touring multiple cenotes, providing fresh fruit for a lunch/snack in his bamboo platform hut, as well as a walking tour of his surrounding property and jungle paths. The tour was unique, exciting and educational for adults and children alike. Roberto takes great pictures along the way which he later sends for download allowing you to leave belongings behind and enjoy each aspect of the tour. 15 min drive from Half Moon bay. Great communication via whatsApp. Down payment via paypal to reserve, pesos for remaining balance on the day of. Roberto was a fantastic host and this tour comes highly recommended for adults and/or families. Thanks again Roberto, best to you in the future and we hope to visit again!

We visited as a group of 7 with kids aged 13,12,11. Really interesting few hours. Roberto shows you around his house and then gives a tour of the jungle and his 4 cenotes (3 wet 1 dry). He explained a lot about the things you see in the jungle and in the cenotes. The cave tours are dark with flashlights but the kids loved it. You see bars and hear tales of jaguar sightings. Within 1 day you get a bunch of photos that Roberto takes and uploads to one drive for you. Great memory and a highlight of our holiday in Riviera Maya.

Wish I could give TEN stars for this incredible, magical, experience of a lifetime! Roberto leads the group on a tour of his off-the-grid eco ranch, the surrounding jungle, and 3 underground cenote caverns. He provides the flashlights you'll need to explore these incredible natural phenomena and even takes plenty of photos with a nice camera so you can focus on the experience. Contact him via his facebook page: @mayamareco and plan ahead since this experience is only for the privileged few.

We were so blessed to come across this private tour. A friend of ours was staying at a different resort and ended up meeting a new friend at the pool. They has mentioned they were going to this tour for the third time. Our friends joined them on the tour and couldn’t say enough good things about the cenotes and the wonderful host! We contacted him through Facebook and was quick to reply. He organized us a private bus transfer to and back to our resort. We drove into the breath taking jungle. We arrived to the humble host welcoming us into his home along with snacks and water. We left all our belongings in his unique home and proceeded on our way. He lead us through 4 amazing underground caves and loaded us with a book full of knowledge and history of the land. Even faced my fear of the bats in the caves! Wonderful photos of us were taken and uploaded to an album online for us to download. Highly recommend this tour. So special to welcome people into his home and share the beauty of the land!

Truly unique and personal cenote tour. Roberto was a kind and informative host. We learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the cenotes. There’s a modest amount of physical exercise involved. The tour itself is private and does not feel at all commercial. My wife said it was the highlight of our two weeks in Mexico.

This is a back to nature way to see caves and cenotes. Robert provides tours to only your group. He clearly loves his property and his caves, and by the time you leave, you will love it too. A great change from the commercial cenotes. We parked on the dirt road that leads up to Roberts place for about 1/2 hour because we were a bit too early. WOW! We got an unexpected butterfly show! There were literally a dozen or more butterflies in front of you at all times - many types and colors - flitting in and out of the jungle. I don't know if that is a year round treat - but it was sure great in January!

Wow! This is a true and honest dive into the unknown. The land is extremely pure and well maintained. They are family owned and not a place for crowded visits (special for when you want to avoid lines). I was surprised to know there are many private and exclusive services at Mayamar. They range from a tours and excursions, all the way to wellness and sensory experiences. Very lucky to have visited the precious jewel that is Eco Rancho Mayamar, I love it!

My wife and I have traveled all over the world and have been blessed with having had some amazing experiences. We’ve even been scuba diving through Cenotes. But this was one of the best experiences we’ve had in Mexico! The owner of this beautiful property, with three cenotes, is Roberto. He is a really cool guy, and a great host and tour guide. He will make sure you are comfortable and feel safe. If it were possible, we would rate this experience a 10!

As soon as we arrived to Roberto's I knew it was going to be an amazing time. What i loved most about this experience was how intimate it was. The tour only consisted of me, my fiance, and of course Roberto and his pup. We didn't feel rushed at all and immediately felt like Roberto was an old friend. He was great to talk to and was so patient. He also takes photos the entire trip.
I cannot wait to visit Roberto again when we are in Mexico next!
Thank you Roberto! Good time every time! Hope to see you soon!!
