This small local museum and visitor centre is well laid out. Everything in the court house is labelled which makes it easy to understand. The local history museum is interesting with many artefacts. The museum is free, but a donation is appreciated.

Stop by this informative and pleasant museum in Guysborough, NS to see a glimpse of life in the 19th century. We were greeted by Brandon who is an expert on all things Guysborough and was thoroughly knowledgeable and helpful.......

We weren't looking for this museum but stumbled upon it. It is small but packed with all kinds of neat antiques, most unrelated to a court room. The court room itself is near and offers good picture taking opportunities. It's by donation so pay what...More

We made a brief stop on a very tight schedule primarily for route guidance and could not have been more pleasantly surprised. It is a wonderful venue preserving the past but the young man who assisted us will remain a bright spot in our holiday...More
