Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a great place, closer to the lower mainland and usually less crowed than Desolation Sound. There are 7 main sites that offer camping and distances are short between sites making this a perfect family get away. Put in at Porpoise Bay or at the end of the road.

Went Kayaking with Pedals and Paddles... great staff, close to town and right on inlet. Be sure to discuss where and for how long you are going that is appropriate to your skill level.

Nicely maintained trail. Good parking. We patronized both the Wilderness Lodge (Egmont) and the bakery on the trail and were happy we did. Beautiful and interesting.

The inlet area of Sechelt is magnificent and scenic. The water is surrounded by evergreen trees, hills and snow capped mountains. Eagle fly wild and free from the tree tops.
A must for this area is to go on a night kayak trip. The plankton glows when you stir the water with your paddles. The fish look like fireworks as they are lit up by the plankton at night. This is an amazing one of a kind experience!

Hi,
How can we get to this provincial park? We don’t have a boat or float plane? Is there a paid service? Thank you.
