Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This renovated art gallery shares the passion and talents of Peace Countrys' finest artists. There is always works of art and a quant gift shop to purchase an item for the most difficult people to buy for.

Cool spot to check out in Dawson Creek, there was a student art expo when I was there. Great for kids to showcase their art in a small town, awesome gift shop with local artisan crafts. The staff was really nice as well.

I recently visited our local art gallery. I was very moved by the quality of the pieces on display and for purchase. The staff were vibrant, welcoming and added to the eclectic atmosphere.

I noticed they offer very affordable classes for all ages. The staff mentioned they regularly host events and they have space available for events again at a very affordable price point.

My next visit I hope I will be attending a wine and paint class

I absolutely love the Dawson Creek Art Gallery. Recently, I got the chance to see the Student Exhibit and I have to say there are some very talented youth in Northeast BC! I love that the local gallery takes the time to display various forms of art from all walks of life. Every time I get the chance to visit the gallery I am always please with the atmosphere in there. I had a headache for three days and the whole time I was in the gallery it was gone. It's like a little escape from reality.

We spent several days exploring Dawson Creek, CouchSurfing with locals, and visited the art gallery on a stormy and rainy afternoon in the middle of July. What a pleasant surprise this turned out to be.

Lots of local arts displayed and historical information about Dawson Creek. It is a great place to visit if you are not in a big hurry to get somewhere. There is plenty of parking at the huge parking lot. Snap your picture at the Alaska Highway Mile 0 sign at the corner of the parking lot, walk around town a bit, and spend an hour or so at the art gallery. It also has cute gifts made by local artists, if you are into souvenir shopping.

Be sure to visit the Old Fashioned Bakery - found in the opposite corner of the huge parking lot. It serves fresh, delightful fresh bread and pastries. Get the zupfe (a Swiss braided milk bread - I almost ate the whole loaf by myself) The bakery is closed on Sunday.

A quick stop to see the museum art gallery in the grain elevator. So well kept worth the stop. Located at the traffic circle.

This gallery features some local artists as well tells the story of the building of the Alaska Highway (pictures and writings located in the stairwell). There is a small store on the main floor selling soaps and handmade items as well as promoting local artists. It is a good reason to get out and stretch your legs for half an hour.

You're already there for the Alaska Mile 0 Sign ---- so you might as well walk through. The best part were the photos from Alaska Highway construction; the rest was underwhelming.
