After looking at reviews I contacted See Lanka before I left the UK. We agreed on a two day trip to Ella and boy what a trip. Raj was our driver and tour guide and what a lovely man. I felt perfectly safe thought the trip which says something given the driving in Sri Lanka. The tour was excellent value and I am keen to return to see some more the the country.

We had contacted Nipun before we left the UK, to discuss the types of trips we were interested in doing. We settled for 3... Negombo, which is eye opening and truly worth seeing the real Sri Lanka, an extremely informative half day...with lunch served afterwards at the family restaurant. Sigiriya/Mineriya/Dambulla ...a jam packed day, starting with the climb up Sigiriya rock (me not liking heights didn’t go to the top) but there’s still lots to see! Next stop Mineriya, where we were rewarded with seeing a herd of elephants really close by, we observed them for some time...it was lovely watching them in their natural habitat, a true privilege! Our final destination of the day was Dambulla cave temples, it’s amazing how well persevered they are after all this time. Ella/Nuwara Eliya - an early start and a very long drive with the lovely, and extremely informative Raj, took us to Ella...after stopping at a gem mine...I couldn’t believe the way they search for gems...staggering! We arrived at the hotel, had a quick freshen up, then back in the minibus again to see Ravana waterfall, and nine arch bridge before returning to the hotel for dinner and much needed sleep!!! The next morning Raj took us to the station for the train ride to Nuwara Eliya...all I can say is spectacular, the countryside is beautiful. They are right when they say it’s the most scenic train ride in the world. Raj met us at the other end and took us to a tea plantation to learn all about the process, very interesting! We then proceeded on the journey back to the hotel, stopping for lunch along the way. Thank you to both Nipun and Raj, who showed us and taught us so much on all of the trips. At the end , they felt like family... I highly recommend See Lanka Travels.

We had 3 brilliant trips with Nipun & Raj all of which were fantastic and really made our holiday. See Lanka tours really do look after their guests. We did a local trip to Negombo via train, tuk tuk & boat. We found this a very good introduction to Sri Lankain ways of life. Next was monkey island with snorkeling...... not forgetting fresh coconut with rum 🥥😉. The monkeys jump on the boat to eat fresh fruit provided by Nipun.... 🐒🐵. Finally we had a safari trip to Yala national park. We visited an elephant transit home, turtle rescue centre and other stops along the way. Yala national park is awesome with elephants, deer, boar, bears and leopards. Nipun and Raj are passionate about their wonderful home of Sri Lanka and I would highly recommend See Lanka tours....you will get a better experience that with the likes of Tui. Thank you See Lanka tours...you are Awesome 🙏❤ ayubowan x

We are currently in Sri Lanka and have just been on our first trip booked with Nipon from See Lanka tours. We started our day on a Tuk tuk and headed for the train station where we boarded a train to Negombo. There we visited various places including a trip to the prison and fish market. Nipon came with us for the day and his knowledge and information was amazing. After a spot of shopping we then made a boat journey down the river where the wildlife spotted was fantastic. We finished the tour at Nipons Restaurant where we were greeted with cold scented towels, cold drinks and a delicious lunch all included in the price. Please don’t pay over the odds for your trips, this guy is amazing. No money upfront until you are completely satisfied. Thank you Nipon for an amazing day and look forward to the next one.

This is a family run travel agency located approx. 100 metres from the Club Dolphin Hotel in Waikkal. We met with Nippon who was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the trips available and was happy to tailor trips to our individual requirement. We went on one trip to the Elephant orphanage at Pinnawala , the pineapple plantation, golden temple and Spice garden and this was a very enjoyable day. Our guide was Washington who was great, giving lots of information and commentary on the points of interest along the way. Our second trip was to Kandy to take the train through the mountains to Nuwara Eliya in the heart of the tea plantations. This was a fantastic experience taking in the sights and sounds of this great railway journey ( voted one of the top 10 in the world) - put it on your “to do” list! Our guide on this day was Lincoln who again was extremely friendly and knowledgable. He together with our driver got us to the rail station, put us on the train with full instructions and when we reached the other end he was there to greet us. It was a fantastic day. The vehicles used by this company are clean, comfortable and air conditioned. Thanks to Nippon and all the team at See Lanka for two great, well organised trips and a special mention for both Lincoln and Washington who were great. I would not hesitate in using this company again for any future trips.
