We started off in the Maison du Marais itself with an interesting exhibition which explains the history of the Marais and how it is preserved and still used today. There were some old farming implements, some oral history films from people farming and maintaining the...More

The marsh area is unique in its kind. We enjoyed the trip that took us over a 4 km stretch on a quiet electrically powered boat through a green landscape.

If I could choose, I would go for a local little restaurant rather than MdM. Fact number one, the complex look unfinished and industrial. Second, the local small restaurants around provide you more generosity in terms of choices and food flavors. Last but not least,...More

Excellent exhibition about the cabinet of curiosities, the people, houses and crops of the marshes. Fascinating area. Recommend seeing the exhibition before doing the boat trip.

Excellent trip with multi lingual guide operating the boat (the truck) a typical way to move produce around in the Marais.
