Interesting place if you like local history. Go for the guided tour of the old jail and see the cell where Tom Dooley was incarcerated. Also Cleveland House is on the tour.

Very clean and well organized. Work still being done on log house but museum and jail open. Well worth a visit and then eat at Dooley’s.

What a great museum! Wouldn't expect this in a small town. Beautiful old building. Also, make sure you leave enough time to visit the cabin and old jail. Those are included in the price of admission!
