I know you can park at the end of the road, but I like walking, so parked in Aberffraw. This is only 1. 5 miles but it's a lovely walk with very little traffic. It's very stoney over to the island but easily manageable. It's...More

It’s well worth the walk out to this little church which dates back to the C12th. It’s kept locked , you can contact a key owner but we saw all we wanted to through the windows. ‘Most of the walls were rebuilt during a 14th...More

I encountered this highly photogenic church while walking the Anglesey Coastal Path. If one is interested in photography, this is the kind of place that holds you up as you want to get it in changing light and from a range of viewpoints. Sadly time...More

A unique church in the sea, only reachable by a stone causeway at low tide. A favourite with local photographers particularly when the sun sets behind the church.

This place was so hard to find. We spent 30 mins down single track roads only to find it was now gated and couldn’t get to it easily. We turned and gave up as we had already missed dusk..

I have walked along the coastal path a few times and stopped to admire as we locals call The Church in the Sea. I have on a few occasions been lucky to walk to the Island and walk around the Church. I have never been...More
