We went as two couples and did the short tour with tasting. Informative tour. Knowledgeable tour guide. It's a tough duty to do mini-shots of straight bourbon. The coffee one is excellent. Well thought out gift shop.
We went on the tour which was interesting & guide was well informed. We had an engineer with us so lots of questions that she did a good job of answering. Then a nice tasting. Love that Southern Star Cream Bourbon! Facility is nice too....More
$15 for a 45 minute tour, you get a tasting at the end, 4 different ones. There’s a shorter tour available also which includes a tasting, but I don’t know the price. Very interesting in see the process of distilling. Friendly staff. Lots to buy...More
Loved the visit to Southern Distillery. Angelique was a great guide and very informative about the history of distilling in NC. We purchased several bottles as well as a few other items from the store. Highly recommend.
