I was born and raised in Statesville in 1941. Went into the military in 1965 and have return several times to visit and a class reunion This collection bring back a lot of memories. Surprising what you see that you didn't know about your hometown. Great place and the keeper loves to talk about most anything

This place is very, very nice. The people running the place is so friendly and informative. The collection is great and to me, especially the collection of Tom Dooley memorabilia is formidable.

If you are a history buff, you'll love this place. There is so much history of Statesville in the pictures alone. Steve Hill, who manages the Collection, is extremely knowledgeable. It's like stepping back in time.
