These sand dunes are unexpectedly massive! The kids loved sandboarding down them. Definitely wear sunglasses, as its very windy. Hiring the boards is great value. Watching the dune buggies, quad bikes and motorbikes zoom over these is great

We went to the shop that rented sandboards. It cost us 10$ and we had to give 50$ in case we would not bring the sandboard back. They gave our 50$ back when we brought it to them. What we didn’t know is that at...More

Endless white sand surrounding you, and many sand hills big and small. A superb experience to try sand boarding. Forget being afraid of falling or of the height of the hills. The sand is soft enough to catch you on your way down. We were...More

Worth a detour to give the sandboarding a go, was good fun! I can't remember the exact price but it was very cheap to rent a board for an hour or so (you wouldn't need much longer as it gets tiring getting back up). Also...More

Only a two hour drive from Perth makes this destination a must see if you are wanting to try sand boarding. The dunes are easy to reach and you are able to hire boards for $10 at the car park of the dunes. The sand...More

Lovely bit of coastline. Beach in front of the sand dunes is easily accessible by car, you can even drive into the sand in a 4wd!

Better not. Although there is no proper carpark, the place where we parked our car (we rented a hatch back) is probably a good 5 minute walk to the dunes. If you just follow the signboard, you know that you have reached the... More
