Hmmmmmm.... It's hard to know what to say. Given Chinese tourism is likely to increase, it may be worth putting in a bit more effort. It's a pretty interesting story and is worth more!

The Chinese monument is situated at the end of Robe Beach in front of Maritime House. It is not really worth taking a special trip to see though.

Yes, it looks exactly like the picture. And that's it. This is not worth going out of your way to see.

When we went to the Visitor Center in Robe, the clerk told us to see the Chinese Monument. We did! 16,500 Chinese landed in Robe in the 1850s. The Chinese headed to other towns. They walked 320 kilometers to find a place. The government asked...More
