A must when visiting Seventeen Seventy, there is a lookout which is accessed from the car park via an easy stroll walking path. Great views of both sides of the peninsula.

An easy walk to spectacular views. A must see if you are in 1770 area. Parking available then a short walk out to two different lookouts.

We started the walk from Cook's monument. Soaked up amazing views, gentle incline walk, little bridges, rainforest, viewing platforms, rest seats along the way. Thoroughly enjoyed these few hours exploring. Approx. 3km return, allow 45 minutes to headland. Take water!

There are several walks you can do through this national park. Well worth the effort. Recommend to do. Interesting if you like Australian history.

If you don't mind squeezing past everyone on the short walk to the headland, it is worth it for lovely views and the sight of a whale passing by. Probably the highlight of a visit to 1770 as there didn't seem much else to see,...More

This was a great place to take in the headland .Lovely walk and lots of information and history. The end of the day was a fantastic sunset to sit at the headland and take in.

I have visited this spot about 10-15 times now, I always see turtles and most times I see dolphins. On a few of those occasions I have also seen whales. I am never disappointed by the view. Spectacular

Hi Helen, yes the roads are sealed all the way, as well as the entire car park. Most of the foot paths are paved as well and it is easy to get to all the interesting things. Please let me know if you have any further... More
