It truly is the simple things in life that are great. Parents took us here all the time growing up. I took my son all the time. Best playground around. relaxing views of the lake. Go try it and make a memory.

They threw me out with my kids because they could swim at 2 and 4. They said I had to have my hand on the kids the entire time, which is impossible if the kids are actually swimming. The carousel is rusty and dated.

According to the High Point Parks and Recreation Department Fees and Charges document that is posted online, the cost to rent a solo kayak all day is $12. If you have your own kayak, the launch fee is $4.

According to the High Point Parks and Recreation Fees and Charges 2018 document online, toddlers (3 years of age and under) have free admission to the swimming pool with a paying adult 18 years of age or older.

According to their website, the cost of the pedal boats is $7.00 – 2 seat and $8.00 – 3 seat per ½ hour. Have fun!
