My family of 4 went tubing with Cherokee Rapids Tube and Kayak Rentals. We enjoyed every minute of it! There were parts that were nice and easy interrupted by some fun but not serious rapids. Close to the end there is a rope swing which...More
I have always enjoyed tubing and rafting and understand the dangers. Scrapes, bruises, etc. I really feel like a tubing company should regularly check their route for potential hazards especially being that small children often partake in this activity. I have no complaints about the...More
Rented tubes, not the most organized but we got to tube. No one mentioned the danger of the rocks near the bridge. Could have been bad. According to the local paramedic who was hiking and help us get our kids to safety...this happens quite frequently...More

We were a little nervous about this after meeting a family in the parking lot who had just returned from the river. They (luckily) warned us to get life jackets for our girls (9 and 6) they also complained about getting knocked around and beaten...More

There is a public restroom across the parking lot from where you pay to go tubing. It's a large enough restroom for a family to change clothes. In fact, there is a sliding partition to separate boys from the girls as the toilet is in one room and a sink is in the other. Be sure to lock the door because some people tend to try to walk into the restroom without knocking first.
