My family of 4 went tubing with Cherokee Rapids Tube and Kayak Rentals. We enjoyed every minute of it! There were parts that were nice and easy interrupted by some fun but not serious rapids. Close to the end there is a rope swing which...More

I have always enjoyed tubing and rafting and understand the dangers. Scrapes, bruises, etc. I really feel like a tubing company should regularly check their route for potential hazards especially being that small children often partake in this activity. I have no complaints about the...More

Rented tubes, not the most organized but we got to tube. No one mentioned the danger of the rocks near the bridge. Could have been bad. According to the local paramedic who was hiking and help us get our kids to safety...this happens quite frequently...More

I did this tour by myself as hubby doesn't care for the water. You pay $12, ride the bus to the put-in spot, and carry your tube to the river. Wear closed toed water shoes as the rocks can be quite slippery. I wore flip...More

This float trip is not a lazy river where you leisurely float along. The Oconoluftee River is fast flowing river and you can and most likely will get knocked out of your tube. But don't let that stop you, it is so much fun. The...More
