This place really exceeded our expectations. My husband and I were looking for a short fun day trip for our 5 year old. The staff are very friendly and so are many of the animals.

We came and enjoyed this a lot. Lots of animals to see here, we went to the presentation which was interesting. Took the train ride thing, fed the giraffe and a few other animals. Played on the small playground, enough for us for one day.

We spent about 2 hours checking out the animals, both walking through the different areas/trails and a safari tractor ride around the property. The informative and helpful staff really took our trip up a notch for me because they sparked an interest in my kids...More

Absolutely wonderful! We took our two year old and grandparents to the zoo. Everyone had a great time. Feeding all the animals was definitely a highlight for my little girl. The safari ride was very informative (they rescue all their animals) and a nice break...More

I stepped in at the zoo on 7-24-18 and all was enjoyed. The animals were rescued and happy. The staff cares from what i can see. I think people should support their local zoo.

Good animal park/zoo outing. We were very surprised at the size of this park and the number of animals they have. We saw lots of open range African animals including gazzels, antelop, giraff, and tigers. The other animals we found interesting were grisly bear, American...More

Visited the facility with children and grand children. It was as expected of a rescue zoo, not a lot of frills, some exotic animals; way too many goats. The staff was as much a treat as the animals. Friendly and engaging, especially for the little...More

A rescue zoo, who needs help, but worth the trip. The Giraffe taking carrot sticks out of your mouth gives you warm fizzles and I do mean fuzzies!

You are allowed to feed many of the animals there. They sell feed, corn, bread, and carrots. The ability to feed the animals depends on where they are keeping the animals. Sometimes they have to isolate the animals for... More
