This was a quick up-and-back in the inlet in front of Beaufort. We were unlucky in that the horses weren't out, and there was no mention of dolphins. Seeing the wild horses would have been interesting, but the captain wasn't able to make the trip...More

This was a great tour to get information on the area and to see what nature has to offer. Our captain was very informative and took extra time to show you the different areas of the islands. We can't wait to go back again. The...More

Just an average boat ride up and down the Beaufort Inlet. Smooth waters even on a windy day. Very little Wildlife which was surprising.

We enjoyed our Wild Horse, Nature, and History cruise with Captain Bob who shared his wealth of knowledge about the Beaufort and Outer Banks. He helped us grasp the geography of the various islands while educating us about the wild horses, grasses, and sea life...More

We've traveled many many times to Beaufort but have never tried the Waterbug Tour......we didn't know how great it was! It's a small boat that holds only maybe 10-14 people. Our tour had only 6 people on it, and that was perfect. We have never...More

Capt. Peggy was our guide and she was fantastic. I plan to do it again on my next trip in a month. Informative, beautiful sunset and FUN!!!

Loved it! Because it's relatively small, it snuck us into interesting spots along Carrot Island and we got a great up-close water tour. Nice interaction with the Captain because of smaller crowd size. This is the best!

We wanted to go to Shackleford Banks to see the horses, but they were closed due to Hurricane Matthew heading our way, so we took this tours instead. It was great! All the horses from the Rachel Carson came down to the shore to greet...More

It is a one hour tour up and down they peninsula area but the guide could put you to sleep. If you are going to do one of the tours would recommend you try another

We were able to get on the last tour of the day after our other reserved boat ride was cancelled (the other company was great but other patrons cancelled due to clouds, I guess? Because it didn't even rain.) So these kind folks and inexpensive...More

I believe the daytime tour is $18 per adult and $10 per child, but check their website. We felt the tour fee was reasonable and it was a highlight of our trip.
