My husband and I spent a couple hours here. Much of the exhibits were about the Queen Anne’s Revenge. The process of salvaging the wreck was very interesting.

North Carolina is bless with several maritime museums. The one in Beaufort is my favorite. On several trips they have events that include children / youth from the area. Every trip is an educational adventure.

This is a nice place to learn about North Carolina’s maritime history. Home to the Blackbeard artifacts. Stop by it doesn’t take long.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The featured exhibit while we were there was about Blackbeard and had lots of items from the wreck of his ship, Queen Anne's Revenge.

A small museum with free entry. They have a very interesting Blackbeard collection with many items recovered from the Queen Anne’s Revenge. Not a lot else to see but it appeared that they had a good children’s program.

We had 30-40 minutes to kill in Beaufort. I am glad we went there. It is a free museum with suggested donation. The staff were friendly and they share good knowledge. We saw the remains of Queen Anne’s Revenge used by the Pirate Blackbeard.

My husband and I with our two children stopped in the museum. They had a movie That detailed the excavation of Blackbeard's ship. There was also a great little gift shop there too.

Great museum in downtown Beaufort. Features many artifacts from the Queen Anne’s Revenge, the flag ship of Black Beard the pirate. There are many other nautical exhibits as well.

It's a small indoor museum, I did not see any dogs when we were there. I'm thinking it would not be appropriate to bring dogs in.
