Such a gorgeous place and the food and wine was excellent! We had 4 wines to taste and the platter for two. The wines were all beautiful. We had to take a bottle of the 2011 Pinot Noir for later! The view is just gorgeous...More

The brochure and the website sparked excitement as we had decided, while in the region, to visit a winery. The ferry from Whitianga wharf costs $7 per adult return and the brochure said, from the wharf, the winery is either a 30 minute walk or...More

Dear Custmer, thank you for your review and we feel sorry that you didn’t enjoy your time here. A 50 minutes walk from the ferry looks like quite a long time, but I know the view sometime can be distracting, specially near the water, it’s...More

Lovely spot to relax and enjoy the view of Cooks Beach. A wine tasting paddle allows you to sample 4 wines and these go really well with their delicious pizzas.

Come on, you’re in New Zealand so of course you’re going to visit some wineries. Make sure you visit this one. A scenic setting, the grape vines rolling before you, the sea at it’s back. Sumptuous wine to sample and in a nod to it’s...More

You pay for wine tastings here so they are nice to do with one of their pizzas or meat/cheese plates. The verandah tables have a wonderful view over the property and to the town and water beyond. A small number of the wines are made...More

Beautiful view over Cooks beach, stunning atmosphere, wood fired pizza, great sharing platter, exellent wine & relaxed atmosphere. Bit rainy & windy on our visit, but with the roll down sides didn't effect us at all. Lovely setting.

Yes, there is a ferry, from the ferry to the winery is 40 minutes walk, so I suggest to book a shuttle “cathedral cove shuttle ‭027 422 5899‬” or take “go kiwi bus”.
