I wasn't sure about kayaking with our 6 year old but this trip was amazing. It was too rough/windy to go to Cathedral Cove but the operators were sensible and communicated options clearly. We ended up going along Cook's beach and into Flaxmill Bay which was perfect. The instructors/guides (Georgia and Ollie) were knowledgable and fun with exactly the right amount of fun and practical knowledge.

My first trip to New Zealand and kayaking with Coromandel Sea Kayaks was a fantastic experience. I had never kayaked before and Keith was a great instructor and guide. Beautiful water, cliffs, beaches and interesting history were all highlights of this adventure. While Keith was the guide, his partner Brad was above running across the cliffs like a mountain goat taking photos of us which were sent to us following our trip. The guys were fantastic and I highly recommend you make this part of your itinerary when you are are in the area.

We were expertly guided by Brad around the wild and remote Coromandel coastline from Opito Bay to Matapaua Bay. As a virtual novice it really showed me the true colours of Sea Kayaking in New Zealand waters; being able to see and land in places others on foot or in a boat can't reach and to hear about the great history of the area. From the time of the Polynesians to the European settlers and the 2nd World War. On the homeward stretch it was play time. We were greeted by a pod of 40 or so dolphins arching out of the water in turn giving us an amazing display of their athleticism and fearlessness as we sat close by in awe. Thank you Brad and Keith for giving me and my husband a true New Zealand experience. Those unused to being on the sea in kayaks remember to tie on your hat and sunglasses so that you are well prepared.

We had a fantastic kayaking trip exploring the coast from Opito Bay. Keith was a great tour guide, giving us some history of the area and guiding us through some of the rougher water and rocks - adding to the adventure of the day. We loved the photos Keith and Brad got of us, from the water and above in the hills, not something other tour companies would usually do. Thanks for a great day guys :)

Had a fabulous trip yesterday. Six adults & we all loved it. Brad & Keith were fantastic. We were lucky with the weather. The sea was calm & clear. Paddling through the sea caves was a wonderful experience. Brad interacted with us all & kept us informed about what we were doing & the natural landscape we were paddling around. A brilliant trip!

Mazie & I had no idea that meeting Keith and Brad of Coromandel Sea Kayaks was going to be the highlight of our trip 🙌 K & B we’re knowledgeable, safe, and funny af. It was the absolute best way to avoid crowded spots but still witness/experience some of the most stunning spots of our whole vacation. I’ve kayaked before but it was nothing like this- a definite must for any vacationer in the Whitianga area. 🇳🇿♥️‼️

We did the day trip with my friend Chris and it was amazing. You'll get to see beautiful hidden places! Brad and Keith are 2 friendly guys that will share their experience and a lot of story about New Zealand. Definitely recommanded!

This is an excellent Coromandel experience! Run by 2 professional, experienced and enthusiastic young men.
They were calm reassuring and provided great guidance for experienced and beginner kayakers alike.
Knowledge of the local area and features as well as being mindful of the weather and conditions was a focus of the trip.
Our group would highly recommend this trip.

Brad and Keith exceeded our expectations as they made our day kayaking the beautiful isolated areas with the wonder rock structures, islands, beaches, etc. a thoroughly memorable experience. Brad was extremely informative and attentive to all our needs and safety above all else.

It was an amzing day out sea kaykaing, the coastline scenery is stunning and the water conditions were beautiful for the day. Our guides keith and Brad were very friendly and competent with lots of Kayaking experince which added to feeling confident and relaxed on the water.
