Nothing special really. Felt sorry for the bees as I rescued two and found about 3 already drowned. Pretty clean however, the bathrooms/changing rooms were rather small. About a 7/10 experience.

What a great find in the middle of Whitianga. Great pool complex for adults with children over 14 allowed with an adult. Picturesque pools with great service.

Such a beautiful place! We could not get over how amazing everything looked, it really made you feel like you had gone over to the islands for a quick spa. We enjoyed a full body massage as well as cocktails by the spa and we could not fault a thing. Would 100% come back. Only recommendation would be if they... More

My partner and I enjoyed an hour soaking at the pools on a Sunday morning. It was relatively quiet when we arrived shortly after opening and there are a few pools of differing temperatures that you can choose from. Our favourite was the crater hot pool, which is the warmest at around 39 C. The design and theming throughout is... More

We were travelling randomly on our days off, we were only passing by Whitinga (first time) in a cloudy day when we noticed a "hot pools" sign somewhere in town. Why not check? We walked in the reception not realising how nice and fancy it looked, we were impressed by the "vacation" vibe. I have never heard of this place,... More

This is such a wonderful experience. I was made to feel so welcome. I booked 90mins in the thermal bath and that was enough to feel totally relaxed. I could have ordered drinks and food but that wasn't necessary. The geothermal water varied in temperature but was never too hot. The bathroom facilities were of a very high standard.
