Our afternoon trip departs the beach at 1:45pm and returns at 4:45pm.

Plan to sail around the beautiful coastline on Fully Charged and visit local iconic locations, setting anchor for half an hour at Cathedral Cove. Either relax on the boat, or have a swim or snorkel in the marine reserve with the amazing fish life.

Your trip includes a complementary chilled local beer or New Zealand wine along with some smoked local seafood.

Every trip is different. Help to sail or sit back on our comfy beanbags, soak up the scenery and relax.

Using wind power as opposed to engines and fuel allows us to take guests out with minimal impact on the environment.

This is at the smaller end of bike parks I've been to, but its nice. Some lovely bush to ride through and the trails seemed in good condition. The trail to the summit is fairly steep though. It had a really nice community feel with (free?) loan bike for kids. The trail gradings seemed pretty honest. I found the intermediate trails easy enough, but struggled with the extreme ones. I had a nice talk to one of the guys working in the park, sounds like they've got good plans for the future. All the best, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

The staff were very helpful and the bikes were fantastic. Very good quality for hire bikes. We took hard tails because that’s what we were used to and they let us try them first for fit and suitability. Electric bikes are of course more expensive but looked good. We did half a day because we only had that time but we got to zone 5 in that time. The trails are in zones and there are hundreds of possible routes all graded. They have a very helpful map which is a must and easy to follow. The forest is vast. This really was an exciting biking day as I said in New Zealand forests and hills. Excellent time spent.

Me and my father and my mate and his father went on this mountain bike ride expecting an enjoyable ride, however, this was not the case. The trails were not maintained, there was poor signage telling you where the top, bottom, entrance, and exits were, the trails were to narrow and steep that you had to push your bike up most of the way even for an experienced rider like myself.

This park has some surprisingly challenging technical downhills, a short out and back that will satisfy the nervous infrequent MTB partner, and a maze of walking/climbing tracks, all in regenerating native bush. It’s base area offers bmx and skills areas all set in gardens maintained by community volunteers, thankfully free of the botanical chauvinism that commonly infects local government built and maintained parks. In other words colourful non-indigenous trees and flowers have not been ‘cleansed’ from sight. And it’s only a few hundred metres from the excellent Departure Lounge cafe at the airport’s obscurely situated terminal building.

There are many tracks at the Bike Park, not only for bikes, but also for people to walk. There is ongoing work being done to keep improving it. There are several tracks you can walk at this venue. Really enjoyed my visit, and will be going back again.

So glad you enjoyed your visit. The recent storms do create extra work in clearing trees from the tracks. There will be some new bridges in a few months time
